RSM – Real Sense Magazine was founded by Christina Cooper in 2013 when her published father came to her when he was 89 years old asking how we could get his book Laughter in Hell back into circulation. The original publishing company from 1954 had folded decades ago and no current publishing company would touch it without him paying them thousands or give up the rights to re-launch his book. He had a 2nd book in the works, but without his first book being in circulation, it wouldn’t make sense. His daughter Christina promised she would find a way, one that didn’t sacrifice ownership and cost the family thousands to launch. Tom passed in 2016, but in 2021 Christina was able to navigate the challenges of self-publishing. But it all came with time lost and not until after losing her father. He never got to see the response from todays world. Because of Christina’s passion for helping others, she has launched herself into the self publishing assistance role. Helping others to achieve their dreams of publishing without sacrificing their rights. Even Dolly Parton refused to give up ownership rights and nor should you.
