2. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, materials, files, images, manuscripts, account information, approvals, and other content reasonably required to complete their project.

Clients represent that they own, license, or otherwise have the legal right to use all materials they provide to RSM Publications.

RSM Publications is not responsible for copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity-right, licensing, plagiarism, or other claims resulting from materials supplied or specifically requested by a client.

3. Publishing Services

RSM Publications may assist authors and other clients with preparing and submitting books or other materials to third-party publishing and distribution platforms.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, RSM Publications acts as a service provider and does not guarantee that a manuscript or other work will be accepted, distributed, ranked, promoted, or sold by any particular third-party platform.

Whenever possible, publishing and distribution accounts may be established in the client’s or author’s own name so that royalties and other payments can be paid directly to the appropriate rights holder.

Third-party companies, including publishing platforms, distributors, printers, retailers, payment processors, social media platforms, and hosting providers, maintain their own policies, fees, procedures, and terms. RSM Publications does not control those companies and is not responsible for changes to their policies, services, pricing, availability, approval processes, or account decisions.

4. No Guarantee of Sales or Results

RSM Publications may provide publishing, marketing, website, branding, social media, or promotional services intended to improve a client’s professional presentation and market opportunities.

However, we do not guarantee book sales, website traffic, social media growth, search-engine rankings, revenue, royalties, customer conversions, or any other specific financial or commercial result.

Results may depend on numerous factors outside the control of RSM Publications, including market demand, competition, advertising budgets, consumer behavior, platform algorithms, pricing, reviews, and decisions made by third-party companies.

5. Fees and Payment

Prices for services may be displayed on our website or provided through an individual quote, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

Payment schedules, deposits, installment arrangements, and refund terms may vary depending on the service purchased.

Work may be paused if required payments are not received according to the agreed payment schedule.

Additional work requested outside the originally agreed scope of a project may result in additional charges.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Because many RSM Publications services involve customized creative or professional work, payments for work already performed are generally non-refundable.

Any refund, cancellation, or credit will depend upon the applicable service agreement, the amount of work already completed, expenses incurred, and any non-refundable third-party fees.

Fees already paid to third-party companies may be non-refundable according to those companies’ policies.

7. Revisions and Approvals

Requests beyond the included revision allowance, substantial changes in direction, or changes requested after final approval may be subject to additional fees.

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving final materials before publication, printing, distribution, or launch.

Once a client approves a final version, RSM Publications is not responsible for errors or changes subsequently discovered in the approved material, although we may assist with corrections when reasonably possible.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients retain ownership of the original materials they provide to RSM Publications.

Upon full payment for completed custom work, ownership or usage rights for final deliverables will be governed by the applicable service agreement.

RSM Publications retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, business processes, templates, systems, methods, tools, and other intellectual property that existed independently of a client’s project.

Third-party fonts, photographs, graphics, software, templates, plugins, stock media, and similar materials remain subject to their respective licenses and ownership terms.

9. Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, RSM Publications may display completed publicly released work in its portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, or promotional examples for the limited purpose of demonstrating services previously performed.

Confidential, unpublished, or private client materials will not knowingly be publicly displayed without authorization.

10. Website Use

You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or in a manner that could damage, disable, interfere with, or impair the website or its services.
